Amethyst - Get Comfortable [Audio]

Soul songstress Amethyst is back with the news of her debut EP Get Comfortable. The announcement is paired with the release of a luscious track with the same name. ‘Get Comfortable’ boasts sultry lyrics, an elevating jazzy chorus and is littered with playful guitar, all of which seem to have their own sensual appeal.

After sharing that her EP will give listeners an intimate insight into the life of the London based artist, both through love and heartbreak, her latest single serves as a joyful opener to what is sure to be a rhapsody of unrestrained emotions. Speaking about the forthcoming record Amethyst shared, “This EP follows my own experiences of love over the past four or five years, but also other stories that I know will resonate with the listeners. It covers everything from the first stages of a relationship, jealousy, cheating, sex, manipulation, searching for new love, fixing broken relationships and more.”

Hoping to unite listeners through the highs and lows of the phenomenon that is love, Amethyst continues to bring an acute sense of awareness, honesty and relatability to her R&B influenced sound making her one of the most intriguing artists to emerge from the UK right now. Her debut EP will be released March 15, with an EP launch show taking place at Paper Dress Vintage.
