MULIMBA - Here I Go [Video]

Powerful drums and a dramatic piano accord set the protest vibe on Mulimba’s latest track ‘Here I Go’. The indie-artist-with-a-twist has opened for Tom Walker, Elderbrook and Friendly Fires and talks about his latest release in nuanced terms:

“‘Here I Go’ is a tune we wrote during the Black Lives Matter protests in London. It’s weird because I was struggling with my own sense of weakness at the time, and the protests really lifted me up, so the song sort of hits both those nails at the same time.

It’s about how we treat each other, and how you treat yourself. Sometimes when you’re struggling it can help to have like-minded people or your loved ones around you to remind you just how strong you are and that’s what we wanted to capture in the video as well.”

With features in Clash Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit and support from BBC Radio 6, Mulimba stands on the verge of mainstream success: his music is already there, now on towards releasing his first album and snapping that spot on the music pantheon.
