South London rapper KAM-BU drops much-anticipated debut EP Black on Black, a genre-hopping collection of ten tracks that establish the rising act’s versatility. A fierce electronic production infused with live instrumentation, the EP which also features the likes of Leon Vynehall, Pullen, Hylnu and Tom Henry amongst others, is a sonic treat which encapsulates the buzz and grittiness of London, whilst brimming with KAM-BU’s pride for his own identity.
Injecting more emotion into the culturally nuanced body of work, he also offers a brand-new music video for ‘Call Me Back’ featuring Knucks, which features impactful black and white visuals directed by Jay Green and striking artwork from Chad McLean. The video and the narrative it brings to life pays homage to the Windrush generation, developing as a symbol of the representation and empowerment that forms the foundation of Black on Black.
