Jorja Smith - By Any Means [Audio]

Jorja Smith has just dropped her latest single ‘By Any Means’. The R&B track is the lead single from Roc Nation’s forthcoming social-justice themed compilation album, ‘Reprise’.

The charity project aims to raise awareness of important social justice issues through music and will raise money for organisations that support victims of police brutality, hate crimes and other violations of civil rights. Describing her offering to the project, Smith said, “the inspiration behind ‘By Any Means’ really came from going to the Black Lives Matter protest and leaving thinking, what can I do to keep this conversation going? It’s not just a post on social media, it’s life.”

The Brit singer-songwriter really conveys a sense of urgency and dedication to the cause, as she sings about the need to fight for change, to fight for equality and to dismantle racism.
