Last month Grammy Award winning producer, songwriter and artist BEAM released visuals for his track ‘Unda Armor,’ taken from his 2019 debut EP ‘95.’ If you are yet to hear about BEAM, now is the time you get to know as he’s an absolutely phenomenal talent.

Kingston, Jamaica born BEAM - his name which is an acronym for “Be Everything And More,” migrated to Miami, FL as a young child. Son of reggae and dancehall legend Papa San, BEAM literally grew up in the studio and around music. Until now BEAM was very much behind the scenes, collecting songwriting and production credits working with the likes of 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, 21 Savage, Metro Boomin and Major Lazer.

Now working with Epic Records, with the opportunity to create his own music, BEAM’s Caribbean heritage shines brightly in his music, as he fuses his sound across reggae, dancehall, hip hop and trap. Authenticity is such an important factor for music of culture to actually connect and honestly, BEAM’s music hits the mark tenfold.

Not only is ‘Unda Armor’ quite simply a vibe, the trap number is accompanied by a rather interesting black and white visual directed by PDL. We see a young BEAM on the street’s trying to push his CD and as he makes his way home, some sort of invasion comes into play.

Check out the video for ‘Unda Armor’ below and after that, press play on BEAM’s ‘95’ EP, which was executive produced by himself and Cardo.
