Previous Fashion Scout Merit Award winner and Woolmark prize finalist i-am-chen, takes on inspiration from the works of American abstract painter Agnes Martin, for her autumn / winter 2019 collection, entitled Unclassifiable.

It was Chen’s goal to bring classic and traditional shapes to life through knitwear and explore the minimalism of geometric repetition. Although the construction of the garments maybe simple, Chen fuses her energy through the use of bold and vibrant colours, showcasing the technicality and innovation of fashion through knitwear.
