A-Jane AW19 Collection as presented by Fashion Scout

The expression of freedom and the need to go against traditional norms has been a concurrent theme throughout the collections presented during London Fashion Week this season. The A-Jane collection entitled ...Unerwartet, ich which means ‘the unexpected,’ explores limitless boundaries which can lead to the unknown and thoughts of anticipation - that can sometimes appear to be unsatisfactory. However, A-Jane designer Alice Jane challenges these fears, by reaching unexpected levels of creativity. The result, she quotes “satisfaction and pleasure.”

The A-Jane autumn / winter 2019 collection Neue Musik (new music), intended to create artistic inspiration and optimism, by simply allowing the creative mind to flow freely and not conform to the guidelines of the industry. The idea that music does not follow a key, resulting to inharmonious and chaotic sounds, which have been mirrored across the collection. The finishing details across the collection bring the concept to life, with the use of waves and curves, where normally a straight line would have been most likely expected.
