Normani - Waves feat. 6LACK [Video]

After collaborating on successful projects with Khalid (Love Lies) and Sam Smith (Dancing with a Stranger), Fifth Harmony member Normani is in no rush to stop shining solo, dropping a ‘sci-fi takes on seductive’ video for her single ‘Waves’ featuring 6LACK.

‘Waves’ which was released back in November 2018, was left on the back burner until both Normani and 6LACK were available to shoot the video. You know what they say though, good things come to those who wait. The visually dreamy video is directed by Emil Nava who has previously worked with the likes of Eminem and JLo. We see Normani waking up on a foreign planet, floating through the galaxy with the help of some strong visual effects. Normani then breaks out in some mesmerising choreography with her dancers, until 6LACK interjects, to deliver his verse while romanticising her.

‘Waves’ proves to be yet another successful collaboration which the ATL-born singer can add to her bag, as she gears towards her debut solo album release later this year.
