Moss Kena, THEY. & Rapsody - Problems (Rework) [Video]
Moss Kena, the 20-year-old London native has blessed us with a rework of his soulful track ‘Problems,’ this time with an unexpected collaboration with R&B duo THEY. and American rapper Rapsody.
The video directed by Ruby and Boya, doesn’t hold a fixed narrative, it works as poetic justice, connoting the struggles of youth and culture in a contemporary world. Kena sings in the chorus, “problems, seems everybody’s got em’ / everybody’s trying to solve em’” against scenes of train rides, £20 notes and youth rolling blunts. Rapsody’s verse aligns with Kena’s overall message in the song, rapping: “it’s part of life's problems, we gonna have more, long as you’re breathing life’s still gorgeous.”
The original song which featured as a closing track on Kena’s debut EP ‘Found You Back In 06’,’ has now taken a new lease of life with the skilful addition of THEY. and Rapsody. Moss Kena already has the industry talking and this song is most definitely a showpiece. ‘Problems’ is overall visually poetic and the statement made via the lyrics are clear, celebrate the everyday life, for better or for worse.
