It’s pretty wild to think this is now our fifth radio show but we’re loving the opportunity to share all these dope tracks with you and hoping you love them just as much as we do! For our August instalment we kick off the show with flowerovlove’s ballsy indie pop number ‘Get With You’, very different to what we usually play but the tune is ‘bad’ and it just worked. Kyra’s beauty of a song ‘blossom spring’ followed - the third release from her forthcoming EP ‘as things grow’, due for release in 2023. A vocal like no other, Kyra sings about the cycle of life and the magic of ancestors passed, living out in the renewal of life.

Gliding on into jazz infused ‘Step By Step’ by Norwegian artist LINDSJØRN, then stepping into some nostalgic hip hop sounds with ‘Eulogy’ by Joey Bada$$, taken from his latest project 2000. German-Afghan producer and Soulection affiliate agajon treats us to a magical number entitled ‘all of that’ featuring German singer LAYLA as she sings, “fuck all of that, I aint trippin’ over you,” we love it!

As you continue to listen on, you’ll be sure to get lost in the enchanting sounds of boerd featuring Venus Anon with ‘Tomorrow’. Alow us to then introduce you to Lizzie Berchie, an absolute incredible emerging talent releasing her debut project ‘Under The Sun’, to which we share her track ‘Pass Time’, soulful goodness at its core, matched with stunning vocals and a complimentary verse from Birmingham’s Kofi Stone.
