Amber Mark - Foreign Things [Video]

Premiered on BBC Radio 1 as the Hottest Record in the world, Amber Mark releases her latest single ‘Foreign Things’, taken from her forthcoming debut album, due for release via EMI/PMR Records soon. Accompanying the new track is yet another dreamy music video, serving as a follow-on from the New York based artist’s stream of stunning storytelling visuals.

Co-directed by Amber alongside her best friend Satya Zoa, the video sees Amber living a life of luxury as a true artistic visionary. Lyrically, ‘Foreign Things’ is doused in uplifting mantras and feel-good vibes, which work perfectly with the bouncy rhythm and summary keys.  Speaking of the track, Amber said, “Foreign Things is about the excitement of new experiences. The thrill of newness. This marks the start of my journey towards self-discovery and serves as a precursor to the enlightenment and self-love that’s achieved in previous singles ‘Worth It’ and ‘Competition’. So excited to continue to piece this story together!”

The end of the video introduces a riveting narrative after a shocking twist. In a statement about the track, Amber revealed that ‘Foreign Things’ is the first chapter of a 5-part anthology of her debut album’s videos that will form a short film to be released alongside the record. Having already released an acclaimed series of home-produced covers and original tracks with impressive DIY videos and artworks, Amber has already firmly established herself as a talented multi-faceted artist, making her debut album highly anticipated.
