Eden Rain - Being Human [Video]

Eden Rain’s latest single ‘Being Human’ gives off Balearic fumes through ethereal arrangements. Dressed in a pop melody and topped off with uber personal lyrics, this is a remarkable rendition of what the singer/songwriter proudly called a ‘missing you’ song.

In Rain’s words:

“It's a classic 'missing you' song - all the late nights and lying around and getting drunk - all the best parts of being human and being comfortable with someone. It's about peeing with the door open”.

Getting nods already from Dazed, DIY and Clash magazine, no one would imagine that Rain’s debut was only a couple of months ago. The 21-year-old Leeds born singer has everything to become the next Gen Z’s official representative.

The video clip carries a post-lockdown Tik Tok aesthetic; a first-person narrative along with psychedelic effects and on-screen drawings, giving us a peek into the urban life in contemporary young Britain. And we want more.
