Lolo Zouaï - Galipette [Video]

Breaking out from the shadow of Dua Lipa’s latest tour, Lolo Zouaï brings an unavoidable presence to the summer months. Encompassing her French heritage with this pop-french fusion, the new single brings fire and distinctiveness to a stagnant sounding pop soundscape.

The single ‘Galipette’, translating to ‘Somersault’ was produced by Stelios who has collaborated with the 26-year-old artist in the past and has brought into light this snapshot of the fast approaching album. The bounce between the different genres keeps the listener on their toes and feels a crime, to only push the two minute mark.

While the song needs no help staying etched in your brain, the accompanying video makes sure that Lolo will leave a lasting impression. Creating a Harley Quinn inspired feel in many of the scenes, the video skips between the artist in three different locations and even sees her featured with the UCLA Women’s Gymnastic team. The choreography, setting and costumes create the perfect piece to fit in the jigsaw of this new single.
