Indira May - When I Hear The Music [Video]

Displaying her subtle independent and charismatic character is singer-songwriter Idira May in the video for new single ‘When I Hear The Music’. Drawing on elements of jazz and soul with delicate piano chords and a bouncy drumbeat, Indira charms her listeners with woozy softened vocals. This is her third release of 2021, following on from ‘The Lights’ produced.by Jaded and ‘What If’ that saw her collaborate with Brighton based artist Dysfunktion.

Evident in her sound, Indira draws inspiration from a wide variety of musical legends such as Billie Holiday, Jill Scott, Chet Baker, Howlin’ Wolf and many more. The accompanying video directed by Barbora Benkova boasts stunning videography which sets the scene of an elegant jazz club with a modern twist, utilising space and light to create something visually engaging.
