Juls - Wicked feat. Sam Wise, Kadiata & Knucks [Video]

‘Wicked’ is the new late-night club banger from British-Ghanaian artist, producer and DJ Juls, alongside stellar features from Sam Wise, Kadiata and Knucks. Boasting surprise elements in the form of stereo soundscapes, luscious horn features and infectious polyrhythmic drum patterns, ‘Wicked’ is a sensual groove with an addictive tropical charm.

Accompanying the track is a Ray Fiasco-directed video, shot in the midst of a late night out in Juls’ home territory of East London. Matching the energy and atmosphere of the song, the visuals see Juls in his element surrounded by beautiful women who radiate amongst neon lights. The shots capture scenes from the dance floor to the streets, illuminated by feelings of joy, celebration and euphoria with cameo appearances from BenjiFlow and Ragz Originale.

Speaking on the track and its visuals, Juls said:

“This song is a blend of Funk Carioca, Azonto and Baile Funk but it still has a very fresh British vibe to it whilst sounding very African at the same time. Knucks, Sam Wise and Kadiata bring the heat with their clever, witty flows. I couldn't think of anyone else to jump on this riddim. It's a very fun track, and hopefully, it becomes another favourite birthday song, especially for the ladies."

‘Wicked’ is the first single from Juls forthcoming debut album ‘Sounds Of My World’, which is currently scheduled for a September release. In the meantime, you can view the video for ‘Wicked’ below:
