Maxine Ashley - Caught Up [Video]

Grammy Award winning singer songwriter, Maxine Ashley, has released a new jaw-dropping video based on true events for her single ‘Caught Up’. Born and raised in The Bronx, Maxine has established herself as one to watch and admired across several platforms of pop culture. Having already written songs for Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, Clean Bandit, Alex Guadino plus more, as well as modelling for Rihanna’s prestigious Fenty Beauty campaigns, she shows no signs of slowing down.

‘Caught Up’ is another number from an artist who has finely honed their skills in creating tracks with immersive lyricism and polished production. The hazy pop beat reflects the blurred imagery of the night depicted in the video co-directed by Estevan Oriol, Andrew Adames and Maxine herself. It illustrates a jarring story that leaves a lasting impression, with karma playing a key role in the narrative. Maxine has shared that the visuals are based on true events and has teased a sequel after an abrupt ending.

The release serves as the first single off of her new EP ‘End of an Era’ which has been teased across her socials. Featuring eight tracks in total, it’s set to be a big project from this young visionary.
