Having established himself as one of the most exciting and pioneering young voices in Britain, Pa Salieu’s first single of 2021 had to do some damage. Luckily, ‘Glidin’’ is rife with his usual raw passion and lyrical expression. Featured on the track is fellow artistic visionary slowthai, together the pair have a unique synergy that helps them surpass standard tropes.
The track itself hears the two UK artists comfort their expectations to rise above the challenges they face. The honest social commentary plays above a conglomeration of reggaeton and drill, giving it a threatening dancehall-bounce. Visuals for the track directed by KC Locke, follow the same dangerous nature as we observe the pair in different settings performing unhinged and unruly acts.
