With her debut EP on the way, Henjila, a 19 year-old artist born in Nepal and raised in the UK, delivers a follow up to her ukelele-led single ‘Paper Boy’, which arrived after her shimmering cover of the classic ballad ‘Moon River’. Distinctively styled in cute pastel looks and a pink Hello Kitty guitar to match, the young artist channels an endearingly daydreamy energy, both through her songs and her look, that warmly welcome you into the popstars rose-tinted universe. ‘Something About You’ is a bright, carefree song about new love, for friends or a romantic interest, where Henjila’s voice emanates happiness over a punchy beat and warm, warped guitar chords. Matching the tune’s blissful mood, its music video captures a happy Henjila cycling around and playing guitar with two of her pals, often accompanied by Spring flowers and tasty snacks to make the day just that little bit sweeter.
