WizKid - Essence feat. Tems [Video]

Wizkid and Tems flaunt Accra, Ghana’s bright colours in the video for their flirtatious single, ‘Essence’.

The Nigerian artists make a formidable duo in the glossy Afrobeats single, with the more established Wizkid giving rising-star Tems a platform to give listeners a glimpse of her knock-out vocals. The track appears on WizKid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ album, which dropped last October and features a host of exciting collaborations, including contributions from Burna Boy, Skepta and H.E.R. Meanwhile, Tems has also had success with her debut EP ‘For Broken Ears’ which received rave reviews from critics following its release in September. Wizkid and Tems make tongue-in-cheek showboating a bit of an artform and it’s hard not to be drawn in to the confident pair who display not only charisma and chemistry alongside one another, but pure talent too.
