Re.decay feat. Mawcom X - Cosa Nostra [Video]

Ahead of the release of their upcoming album ‘Way Out East’, Berlin production duo Re.decay have dropped their latest single featuring Ghanaian rapper Mawcom X, aka Mawuli Jiagge. ‘Cosa Nostra’ hits hard with Mawcom X’s mellow gritty delivery leading the track, while Re.Decay show their capabilities as cross-genre artists on this meandering beat.

The track hears the Ghana MC’s honest depiction of rising to greatness with the use of classic mafia dynamics that are mirrored in the accompanying visuals featuring and directed by Mawuli himself. Despite the lavish, exuberant lifestyle shown in the video, the track still warns of the complications and difficulties that often come alongside a speedy rise to success.

This new release furthers Re.Decay’s collaborative trajectory, demonstrating their determination and commitment to collaborate with a variety of artists from all corners of the globe. Their new album, set for release in January 2022, is said to merge afro-infused grooves, raw hip-hop, soulful house and smooth R&B. It will feature 15 artists from eight different countries and three continents, delving into the ambitious and defiant universe of Re.Decay’s catalogue.
