Kris Yute - I Did It [Video]

Brooklyn based, Jamaican born artist Kris Yute releases visuals for his debut single ‘I Did It,’ a celebratory song on Yute’s accomplishments to date and reflections of his struggles along the way.

The visual features self-filmed footage of Yute, along with animation and collages created by film director Lonewolf. Piecing together imagery from dozens of vintage magazines from the 1960s and 1970s, Lonewolf cut up, layered and assembled the content achieving an impressive first visual for the Brooklyn based artist.

"Even though the crazy times that we’re living in makes it hard to be a director, this process turned out to be really fun and challenging for me,” shares Lonewolf on the process of the visual. “To create a whole world through images and objects that matched the tone of the song turned out to be one of my favorite forms of mixed media and bittersweet to finish.”
