New York Fashion Week | Autumn / Winter 2020 Aliétte Show [Backstage]
Fashion designer Jason Rembert takes us back to a time of opulence and fun, for Aliétte’s autumn/winter 2020 ready-to-wear collection during New York Fashion Week. Drawing inspiration from the 70’s, with nods to the likes of Diana Ross, Cher and Bianca Jagger - all of whom are known for their outstandingly glamorous and non conforming styles. “This collection merges music and fashion,” shares Rembert. “Back to the days of musicians having their own fashion identity and not aspiring to norms and trends.”
Jason Rembert reintroduces a few Aliétte staples with laser cut blazers / skirts, new up-cycled fur coats and mirrored metallics. The collection also includes a 70’s inspired rust coloured jumpsuit, along with splashes of mango and teal colour hues across a number of looks.
The Aliétte autumn/winter 2020 ready-to-wear collection is for the modern woman who is elegant, yet also bold. Here’s a peek into what went down backstage, pre-show:
