Freshly signed under UMG and African company Aristokrat Records, Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Jujuboy Star drops jazz-tinged afrobeat track, ‘I Dey There’.

Produced by Kel P and mixed by duo Banx and Ranx, the laid-back track sees the artist breezily reflect on the drama of a recent relationship and is paired with slick, atmospheric visuals to emphasize the high-stakes of the artist’s romantic entanglement. Hailing from South Nigeria’s Edo State, Jujuboy Star went from singing in the church choir as a child to making homegrown beats at his Grandma’s house after being taught by his neighbour how to produce. His DIY work ethic has been rewarded with incredible success - at 25 he has already lent his talent to projects with exciting artists like Jidenna, Adekunle Gold and Simi. Who knows what’s next on the cards for this rising star?
