Bea Miller shares the fresh music video for groovy ‘Feel Something Different’ featuring American, Ethiopian rap-artist Aminé.

The young American artist has already gained acclaim from ‘feel something’ which became a massive hit after going viral on TikTok. ‘Feel Something Different’ takes the song to the next level, injecting a blast of energy and groove into the dreamy-eyed bedroom-pop track, transforming it into a disco-dance style banger. A feature from rap artist Aminé adds an extra layer of excitement to the newly refurbished song, dropping some smoothly delivered bars and joining Bea in her deadpan delivery of the sunny seeming chorus. The ‘Feel Something Different’ video is a vision of what the pandemic could have looked like if it occurred in the 90’s, following its characters as they struggle to stay connected in a pre-internet world. In the same way that song’s upbeat tempo is juxtaposed by its cynical lyricism, the quirky, playful video simultaneously conveys feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Director Gina Gizella Manning explains, “Working on this video with Bea was seamless - her passion, talent and drive inspires every part of this collaboration. When we had our first meeting about “elated!” pre-covid we were both really drawn to finding a middle ground between reality and ‘surreality.’  And ironically since the pandemic, this year has really had us drawing inward and seeking help and acceptance from the inside, out. With our use of practical effects we worked to create a world that dissociates reality from mentality. What is real? What is perceived?”
