H’ANA is an artist of Yemeni heritage hailing from West London who, although just starting out in the world of music, is undoubtedly destined to make her mark. On new single ‘Saturday Night’, H’ANA’s dreamlike vocals are instantly arresting, seductive and smooth over hypnotic keys and soft jazzy percussion. Produced by emil, the track’s soothing instrumentals are the perfect bed for H’ANA’s sultry voice to rest on, as she describes and embodies those intense feelings of desire and infatuation experienced when falling in love. Inspired by strong voices in R&B such as Snoh Aalegra and Erykah Badu and Arab artists like Fairuz and Amr Diab, H’ANA feels like a unique artist, full of promise, who we can’t wait to hear more from.
