Easy Life - Nightmares [Video]

Leicester City is making some noise and I’m not referring to the Football. Emerging band Easy Life, are creating quite a stir within the UK music scene, am I surprised? Not at all. The five piece band, all members residing from the East Midlands city, are exactly what the UK is currently missing. Don’t get me wrong, the scene is musically strong right now but I can’t lie, I’ve sincerely missed my dose of great British indie music.

These boys are dope! Don’t just take my word for it though, the proof is in the pudding. They released their first single ‘Pockets’ back in November 2017 and within a year (literally), have already landed a performance on Later… With Jools Holland and pretty much sold out their debut UK tour. A modern day Arctic Monkeys with a splash of electronic inspirations when it comes to sound, their image much more hipster and street, leaning towards the likes of a Mike Skinner and their subject matters, definitely in line with the late Mac Miller (God rest his soul). The band delivers real life commentary and relatable music for the youth. The message… it’s normal to not be OK.

Their latest single ‘Nightmares,’ gives us a very straight up revelation, that we can pretty much only help ourselves, when we are ready to do so. The visuals are awesome, the band play doctors whilst frontman Murray portrays an extremely oblivious state, paying no attention to the efforts of his loved ones or even the madness taking place around him.
