No lie was told! The vibe is most definitely always in ROOM TWO!

A party like no other took place last week Friday in North London’s Moko, for the launch of ROOM TWO! Headlined by the incredible DJ and Producer Ossie, the popular Tottenham based hi-fi bar was overflowing with an abundance of energy and nothing but impeccable vibes throughout the entire night. With Cherry B and Magnum tonic wine’s in full flow, along with shots of tequila for those feeling immensely brave, ROOM TWO quickly became the place to be. Moko was on heat as soon as 10PM struck.

Sabrina-Anne kicked off the dance, easing in the early birds with some HouSupa and Afro House sounds, delving deeper over time into more deep and tech house offerings. As the energy in the music built up, the pace of the dance floor followed with spats of footwork picking up across the venue.

The one and only tsunami Tânia made her arrival at Moko for hosting duties towards the end of Sabrina-Anne’s opening set. Wasting zero time, the energy levels tripled as tsumani took to the mic and dance floor, to get the crowd up to their highest element. With the sound of Dennis Ferrer’s ‘Mind Your Step’ in full force, ROOM TWO was now ready for take off!

Stepping up to the decks next was none other than Ronnie Loko. With DJ techniques that will blow your mind, you’ll never be left disappointed raving to a Ronnie Loko set. Finessing his USB for an array of funky house but with edit versions you’ve probably never heard before. Ronnie had the crowd going crazy, the excitement was at an all time high and the wheel up’s were absolutely necessary. With Ronnie on the buttons and tsunami on the mic, this pairing literally caused noting but chaos in the best way possible.

As midnight hit, we were all waiting for one guy. That guy being the main man of the night… Ossie! The crowd were about to be catapulted into a two-hour frenzy by one of the most humble yet, immensely talented DJ and producers of the UK electronic dance music scene. Whether or not the audience knew what they were in for, they were about to find out.

Ossie set out to take us on a musical journey. One that was a gift to himself, as well as those in attendance for his headline gig. The assignment was simple! ROOM TWO is all about providing space for talent to quite simply just do them and Ossie knew exactly what time it was. With Ki Pharaoh by his side as his host, the pair delivered a truly entertaining and outstanding set. When Ossie backed off his t-shirt and took off his crep, we were invited into the DJ and Producer’s vey own comfort zone as he steered his way through an array of house, funky and even disco classics. Many moments were had however, nothing could compare with the drop of Ossie’s own productions which the crowd couldn’t get enough of. From the 2016 house banger ‘I’m Not The One’ to more recent releases such as ‘Dreams’ taken from Ossie’s Unstable EP - whichever of his tracks, the crowd ate it right up.

Whilst Ossie supplied the consistent flow of bangers, Ki Pharaoh kept the crowd going with banter and vibes. From a run of the current TikTok trend “1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8”, to the crowd yearning for Ki’s “don’t f**k about” bar, everything from energy to engagement was fully intact.

The launch of ROOM TWO was 10/10! From the venue to the crowd and then the music… it was all just wow from start to end. We’re very much looking forward to the next session, which we hear is taking place on Saturday 28 September 2024.
