LA artist Iyla’s influences allegedly span mainstream R&B icons such as Destiny’s Child, Brandy, Aaliyah, SZA, Kehlani and H.E.R, but with ‘FOH’, the singer-songwriter yet again demonstrates she’s carving her own path, painting her accessible pop aesthetic with an irresistibly dark edge. ‘FOH’ is accompanied by a stunning music video, where Iyla performs captivating choreography devised and directed by Janelle Ginestra. You can see for yourself why British Vogue described the burgeoning singer-songwriter’s performances as “visual ecstasy”.

On the release, Iyla explains: “The reality of the FOH video is that success takes hard work, struggle, and vulnerability. This shows the battle within ourselves even in the moments that you don’t always win, you keep rising and fighting through every range of emotion. Sometimes life knocks you down, and has no guarantees.”
