Inspired in part by the Wim Wenders film ‘Paris Texas’, the video for ‘Left Feet’ unveils the conclusion of the hijacked radio broadcast series that Hamond has pulled together over the course of his ‘Pirate Radio’ offering. Alongside stories of diminishing relationships and unrequited love, the record documents the cultural impact that pirate radio has had, from the unauthorised rock ‘n’ roll broadcasts of the 60s, to the UK’s dance music explosion in the 90s. Imbuing his music with his experiences in Houston and LA, Hamond pulls from these various genres and subcultures, displaying the wide array of influences that have inspired his blended sound.

"Left feet is about knowing a relationship has to end, yet being thankful for the time spent and the memories gained," Hamond says of the song. "Sonically, it feels like riding on a vintage wooden cigar boat through the French riviera at blue hour."
