Lava La Rue - Hi-Fidelity feat. Biig Piig [Video]

It’s like a party and everyone’s invited… The funky title-track of the West London artist’s forthcoming project, ‘Hi-Fidelity’ stands out as a special release for Lava La Rue, as it features the Irish soul-pop star Biig Piig. Their school friend and fellow creative, Biig Piig helped them to form the collective nine8: a London based arts and music group composed of a range of musicians, rappers and other artists, which flourishes still today. ‘Hi-Fidelity’ is the first single these two lifelong allies have released together as solo artists, melding the duo’s shared love of sultry, subtle vocals and vibey, jazz-inflected production. The video for the track sees Lava partying amongst fellow arty looking pals, radiating joy and confidence and channeling the song’s feel-good aura.

Speaking on the single, Lava adds: "The name "High Fidelity" is a play on words between a musical transition from Lo-Fi (low fidelity) to songs to be played Hi-Fi and also infidelity."
