Telenova - Why Do I Keep You? [Video]

Australian trio Telenova have shared their latest release, a dreamy guitar pop offering titled ‘Why Do I Keep You?’. With a passionately personal theme, the single hears lead singer Angeline Armstrong reflect on the moment you cut ties with someone you love, to free yourself from toxicity.

Released via Pointer Records, there’s a lot of 90s guitar influence on the track. The emotive lyricism and melancholic vibe give the song a warm nostalgic feel as Angeline softly sings:

“I kissed the ground before you, I cut my eyes out for you, restless, blinded by my love…oh why do I keep you?”

The single was released alongside a stunning visual which features the three-piece in their own colourful universe. Co-directed by Angeline and featuring choreography from Zoe Marsh, the video boasts tongue-in-cheek references and intriguing movement.
