Jordan Stephens - Big Bad Mood feat. Miraa May [Audio]

Multi-faceted musician, writer and performer Jordan Stephens has announced his long-awaited debut solo album Let Me Die Inside of You alongside the release of brand new single ‘Big Bad Mood’. Featuring Miraa May, the latest release is a declaration of intent in the best form, setting the tone for the new year while continuing with his themes of self-assurance.

The track is a timely ‘f*ck you’ to the system, with Jordon sharing his view towards the powers that be and adding that “they’re making the rules, they don’t even live by the rules that they’ve made.” Instead, he suggests we should “start the year right” and choose our own directions. Miraa May provides sweet vocal harmonies alongside Stephan’s suave delivery that’s complemented by the track’s buoyancy. The energetic number is one to dance around to but delivers a frankness that offers room to be critical.

Following on from his mental health campaign #IAMWHOLE, which showed an ability to connect with issues that affect the wider public, Stephens continues to elevate himself alongside creating awareness around the stigma. His triumphant solo-return to the music scene has gained support from across the board with high expectations for his debut album. The 14-track project is set to showcase his talent and is due for release next month on February 11.
