Boys Noize & Kelsey Lu - Love & Validation [Video]

Berlin-based DJ and producer BOYS NOIZE has once again teamed up with American singer Kelsey Lu to bring us ‘Love & Validation’, a fearless record with a core message of reconnecting. A short film has been released alongside the single with direction coming from filmmaker Diana Kunst along with Mau Morgó. The erotic visuals capture bold ambitiousness from the artists involved as they share their musings of the last year.

“This idea came out from our need to be close to people again, to bond and feel a community again,” director Diana Kunst shared. Using their lived experiences to curate a unique narrative for the short film, we see a dystopian future where contaminated cities have become unlivable, and humans have lost the quality of socialising. The ‘Love & Validation’ soundscape summons core emotions in the characters, beckoning them to come together.

Speaking on the track BOYS NOIZE added, “This song came to life the first time Kelsey Lu and I worked together in person in the studio, and proves the magic of physical proximity and connection for creativity. The song has a feel that’s primordial, sexy, and alien, and the short film has this same vibe.”

‘Love & Validation’ is taken from BOYS NOIZE’s acclaimed fifth studio album, +/- (pronounced Polarity).
