Nápoles - Give It Up [Lyric Video]

With a warm and inviting spirit, Stockholm based soul and R&B artist Nàpoles returns with her latest single ‘Give It Up’. Her tracks are usually characterised by the slow sensual vibe she exudes in, but this latest single follows a more upbeat route to capture the bright summer days ‘Give It Up’ embodies.

A reflection of the joy and happiness we experience when the sun lights up the long evenings in a blissful glow, this song shines light on Nàpoles ability to convey feelings through personal lyricism and emotive arrangements. In a statement about the track Nàpoles stated, “To me, ‘Give It Up’ is a song about enjoying myself and my surroundings. Even though the energy’s the same it’s a new feeling that I’m bringing. When I listen to it, I feel like I’m in a flow that I never want to stop.”

Raised in Stockholm with a mixed ethnic background from Cuba and Russia, Nàpoles finds her own way of relating to culture in the western society. No stranger to the scene, she’s been spinning records and throwing an array of parties and community driven cultural experiences in Sweden since 2014 with the creative collective Ladieslovehiphop. Her second EP release is due out in October and is set to further her stance as a successful independent artist in her own right.
