Grammy winning singer-songwriter and producer Yebba returns with the official visuals for ‘Louie Bag,’ featuring rapper and singer Smino. While the punchy yet melodic offering delicately balances Yebba’s vocal prowess with Smino’s slick verse in a stunning show of musicality, the video directed by award-winning photographer and director, Francesco Carrozini, lends another layer to the raw track.

Co-written by Yebba, Smino, Q-Tip, James Francies and co-produced by Mark Ronson, ‘Louie Bag’ was born out of a tough phase in Yebba’s life after losing her mother to suicide. The track sees the powerful singer tell the world that no one can tell her how to lead her life, as she issues an empowered warning that speaks of her self-confidence even as she worked through her grief.

With fierceness matched with much-needed good vibes, the track and video offer a glimpse of Yebba’s debut album Dawn, released last week and brimming with the acclaimed acts’ dramatic vocals and heartfelt lyricism.
