PawPaw Rod aka Rodney Husley, shares his new track ‘Thin Lines’ ahead of the release of his debut, ‘A PAWPAW ROD EP’ out next month 17 September. A singer and rapper from Oklahoma City, Rodney combines 60s soul with playful hip hop tempos to give his music a refreshing appeal.

‘Thin Lines’ boasts soulful summer grooves, with his lyrical prowess giving the track depth and maturity, while the toe-tapping melody provides a rousing lift. Having made a name for himself with his debut single ‘HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS’, which amassed over 15 million streams on Spotify, PawPaw Rod remains a focal point of curiosity.

‘Thin Lines’ has been released alongside a video directed by cult filmmaker, Anthony Sylvester. The retro videography and serene shots of Oklahoma, Rod’s hometown, provide the perfect accompaniment to the laid-back nature of the song and his artistry.
