Arlo Parks - Too Good [Video]

BRIT Award winning artist Arlo Parks has released the official video for ‘Too Good’ which comes as the latest single from her critically acclaimed debut ‘Collapsed In Sunbeams’. ‘Too Good’ offers a new side to an artist who has already established herself as a creative force to be reckoned with.

Exhibiting her different influences while still remaining unique and authentic to her artistic lyricism, the track plays as a shining example of her prized poetry and tender delivery. ‘Too Good’ is brought to life using light-hearted humour in the colourful visual clip directed by the duo Bedroom (Beabadoobee, The 1975).

On the track, Parks shares: "I did this one with Paul in one of our first days of sessions. I showed him all the music that I was obsessed with at the time, from ’70s Zambian psychedelic rock to MF DOOM and the hip-hop that I love via Tame Impala and big ’90s throwback pop by TLC. From there, it was a whirlwind. Paul started playing this drumbeat, and then I was just running around for ages singing into mics and going off to do stuff on the guitar. I love some of the little details, like the bump on someone’s wrist and getting to name-drop Thom Yorke. It feels truly me."

With a debut album climbing the UK charts to number three and her UK tour selling out in under an hour, Arlo Parks continues to make her move in the industry.
