Tierra Whack - Link [Video]

We can’t help but love Tierra Whack’s crazy collaboration with LEGO, an ultra-playful visual to go with her latest song, ‘Link’.

Tierra has wowed us once again with this bubbly rap-track. Brilliantly combining catchy beats and whimsical melodies, ‘Link’ is a great match for its quirky music-video, which comes courtesy of the rapper and singer in partnership with LEGO. It was co-directed by Cat Solen and young students from Philadelphia, who, after listening to her song, assisted Tierra in coming up with the video’s story, before putting their ideas into LEGO blocks (witness the creative cuteness here). The end result is a wild and imaginative vision in which Tierra winds up in space - though a bumpy ride means that the trip doesn’t last for long. We’ve come to expect fun and zany visuals from Ms. Whack, and this offering is a welcome addition to the canon!

Speaking on the release, Tierra adds, "I was so excited to work with kids because their energy is fun, exhilarating, never-ending, and full of surprises. I really trusted them, and I knew they were going to come up with something great."
