Dreya Mac - Bag [Video]

West London choreographer turned rap artist Dreya Mac proves her star power in the stunning visual for her Karma Kid produced track, ‘Bag’.

Though she’s been teaching choreography since her teens, Dreya first hit the big time when she landed a dancer role for Stormzy's infamous ‘Vossi Bop’ visual, later dancing for the likes of Dua Lipa and more - gracing stages at the MTV and Brit Awards. The mesmerising music-video for new tune ‘Bag’ which was co-directed by Dreya and Charlie Di Placido (Nines, Kojey Radical, Jungle) will undoubtedly alert new listeners to Dreya's trailblazing solo work, revealed through her incredibly arresting performance and idiosyncratic sound.

"The video direction and the choreography is solely inspired by how the song makes me feel/where I pictured myself when we made it. We wanted a wide shot in a run down open space,” she explains. “‘BAG’ is all about me; what I'm about to do in music and life, what I do and don't like, my family. Even down to the structure of the song, it depicts my sporadic thought process in general conversations and shows my crazy energy. It was definitely made for mosh pits and festivals.

I met Karma Kid at the end of last year. My manager organised a session and we clicked instantly. He really cares about his music so it was great for me as I'm the same. I heard the guitar play through the speaker in the session and I pictured the video instantly."
