Serena Isomia - Meadows in Japan [Video]
Indie hip-hop artist Serena Insomia drops the whimsical visual for her meditative track ‘Meadows In Japan’.
The 20 year old Chicago musician - a first generation Nigerian-American - is quickly grabbing people’s attention with her quirky, left-of-centre R&B tunes, expressive rapping and singing over an energetic blend of lo-fi indie-pop instrumentals and hip-hop beats. Isioma first made waves with wider audiences with her 2020 single ‘Sensitive’ and her debut EP of the same name earned her yet more attention and acclaim. ‘Meadows In Japan’, which is produced by Saint Lewis, features on Insomia’s latest project ‘The Leo Sun Sets’. Speaking on the video, Serena Isioma states:
"I feel like now more than ever it's hard to keep in touch with our friends. Hopefully people will see this video and know that they're not alone. We're all alone together."
