Samm Henshaw - Chicken Wings [Lyric Video]

With the release of a quirky new lyric video for his latest single ‘Chicken Wings’ Samm Henshaw reveals a ‘Henny’s Burger & Wings’ collaboration with London based restaurant Patty&Bun, for food lovers throughout the month of October. The soulful track is characterised by the imaginative lyrics that use food-related word play to illustrate the fun flirtatiousness between two people at their most comfortable.

Samm Henshaw’s charming flow glides above the smooth production from long-term collaborator Josh Grant, making use of American influences and Samm’s distinctive UK sound. With retro hip hop tropes and a bouncy bass, this feel-good offering hears a jazzy, big band, climatic ending which tops off the entertaining uplifting vibes. The lyric video follows the words laid out like a menu, reinforcing the humour in the track as it homes in on the mantra of finding the light in life and not to take it too seriously.

The single comes alongside news of  Henshaw’s forthcoming album titled Untidy Soul due for release on January 29 2022.
