Planet Giza - When The Moving Stops [Video]

Montreal’s hip-hop trio Planet Giza start the year with a bang - delivering their new single ‘When The Moving Stops’, the lead single from their upcoming EP ‘Don’t Throw Rocks At The Moon’.

Built from members Rami B, Tony Stone and Doomx, Planet Giza are a genre-bending unit. Their frisky, blended sound has sprung from the group’s mixed heritage, diverse musical influences and the inspiration they’ve taken from Montreal’s vibrant community. The accompanying video for the rhythmic rap-led tune, captures the Planet Giza crew cruising round their hometown following a glimmer of light in the sky, somewhat a metaphor for the group’s evolution. Director Guillaume Landry confirmed that the visual “symbolizes the opening of a new chapter for the group, in terms of both sound and visual representation.”

The group explained,“This song represents doing things differently and still shining through it all (hence the sun reference). When all odds are against you, that's when it's time to excel.”
