Nao - Antidote feat. Adekunle Gold [Video]

East London’s very own Nao returns with ‘Antidote’, her second single from her forthcoming third album. The track sees her teaming up with Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold to deliver a splash of sun drenched magic.

In ‘Antidote’, Nao’s shimmering vocals drift effortlessly over laidback Afropop beats as she pays tribute to her newborn daughter and celebrates the joy and healing she brings to her life. In the track’s visual, swimming in hazy red shadows, the thud of a heartbeat brings in bright orange hues for Nao to shine anew (the way THAT dress catches the light is an antidote in itself!) and gives way to shots of both artists cradling their tiny muses. From what we can see - through giving birth, Nao has experienced a near rebirth of her own. The video emanates a feel good atmosphere that’s befitting of this deliciously hazy, boundlessly warm tune.
