Cameroonian Afro-fusion artist Tania Takoh, better known under her moniker T’neeya, is making waves with her super-chilled track ‘Hype Means Nothing.’

T’neeya is a multi-lingual musician who is as much a nomad as she is an artist. Travelling to perform between Berlin, London and New York to build a name for herself, before finally settling in Ghana. Citing artists such as Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill and Makoma as her influences, T’neeya makes light, danceable jams which are strongly inspired by an eclectic mix of soul, zouk, Afrobeats and R&B. She sings in a staggering amount of languages, effortlessly flipping between English, French, German and Pidgin at the drop of a hat.
