LA-based 20 year old singer-songwriter Maeta, releases her latest single ‘Teen Scene’ featuring hip-hop artist Buddy.

Produced by Kaytranada, ‘Teen Scene’ is an electronic R&B offering, a soundscape of smooth and dreamy funk beats, laced with Maeta’s incredibly crisp vocal, as she sings about a relationship she’s outgrown, while also owning the uncertainty of young adulthood. “I’ve always used music to help work through my emotions,” shares Maeta in a statement about the new single and her music in general. “And though I’m a mostly happy and grateful person, it’s always the sad and bittersweet songs that really get me. That’s what makes music so special to me at this point in my life. I hope my new music can get people in their feels and help them deal with whatever relationships they’re going through right now.”
