Dolapo - It's Alright [Lyric Video]

British R&B artist Dolapo returns with the release of her new single ‘It’s Alright,’ accompanied with a somewhat cheeky lyric video, that truly emphasises the lyrics of her song.

In follow up to the singer’s 2019 EP ‘A Short Love Story,’ ‘It’s Alright’ is a pop infused R&B number, with a pretty confident approach. As Dolapo sings, “you ain’t ever had someone to change your life,” suggesting to her potential new love interest that it’s totally understandable for them to feel bad about having to leave their current relationship. Why? Quite frankly because Dolapo is something special therefore, she gets it and “it’s alright.” Ultimately she just wants to know if you are on your way to live your best life with her “or nah.” A genuine situation that many may find themselves in at some point in their life. It simply comes down to the case of choosing to live for yourself or somebody else.
