Last week collaborative duo Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes released their EP ‘What Kinda Music,’ via Blue Note / Caroline Records. Taking us on a musical journey through a whirlwind of genres, the project fluidly shape shifts between progressive jazz, electronica and added antidotes of hip hop and soul. Calming and melodic music - the kind that will transport your mind to a place of peace and tranquility, soundtracked by beautiful tones that are somewhat healing.

The standout track for us is ‘Nightrider,’ which features rapper Freddie Gibbs. The song comes paired with a sun-drenched animated video directed by Jack Brown and co-designed by James Neilson.
