Louis Culture - Burst feat. Kam-Bu [Video]

Following his ‘Smile Soundsystem’ EP that dropped last year, South London rap-artist Louis Culture teams up with fellow London up-and-comer Kam-Bu for their infectious new single ‘Burst’.

Led by a warped electronic hook and brash beats, ‘Burst’ is a big tune that sees the two emerging UK rappers reflect on past antics in their respective London stomping grounds - a narrative that’s reflected in the duo’s fun-loving music video. The authoritative vocals from the two rappers complement the bright digitised instrumental, creating an addictive sonic experience that anyone can get into. The two artists are certainly living up to their hype that has been on the rise throughout the year.

Speaking on the track, Louis states: “Despite spending a lot of time away from the ends for my own sanity and safety to an extent, the years I spent there and the person it made me is something I’ll forever carry with me.”

Kam-Bu states: “We were trying to channel nostalgia. When I heard Louis’ verse, it made me remember having a little bit of pocket money and going to the shop. Doing what I could. Having fun, playing run-outs, man hunt on the blocks. Looking up to olders. Living in the moment.”
