Marie Noreger - Eager to Feel [Audio]

Up-and-coming Norwegian singer-songwriter Marie Noreger releases her cool and reflective new single ‘Eager to Feel’.

The third of a spate of singles released in the run up to her debut EP, ‘Eager to Feel’ is a subtle infusion of R&B and jazz, built on a skittering beat-loop and hypnotic sounds designed to lull and put us at ease. Marie’s introspective lyricism and evocative vocals inspire a feeling of peaceful thoughtfulness, which make ‘Eager to Feel’ perfect for kicking back to and a relaxing indulgence after a long and stressful day.

In Marie’s words: “‘Eager to Feel’ is about the pain and the pleasure about being a human. I captured a specific head space in the process of making this song. Questions like “Am I a slave to my thoughts” entered my mind. Feelings and emotions captured most likely in a young body. As a teenager or young adult it can be so difficult to understand yourself, where you come from, what you´re built of ... and just what this whole life means.”
