Cero Ismael - Some More Time [Video]

Watch up-and-coming singer and rapper Cero Ismael in ‘Some More Time’, a lulling, low-key exploration of love and loss.

The emerging Dutch artist soothes and consoles by exorcising his own demons on this contemplative, down-tempo track. Ismael shows he’s got great vocal range, slipping between hush, heady whispers and deeper tones of speak-singing. His voice pairs with the light, swishing beat and dazed guitar sounds to create a sleepy night time atmosphere which is also captured in the song’s mesmeric so-late-it's-early visuals, which intercut footage of Cero in the streets of Paris with hypnotic abstract imagery. Describing the single, Cero says, “On ‘Some More Time’ I’m battling my own destructive state of mine, whilst still longing for the same love.”

Cero has also announced that his debut project, ‘Blue Man’, will be released in January 2021. The 8-track EP is a deep dive into Cero’s experiences over the past year. We look forward to hearing a lot more from this emotionally perceptive, self-aware artist.
